Here's a thread where if you know a really good book, you can post it here.
I'll start off with "War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells. The book is quite interesting. It's different from the movie, but it's pretty good as far as I can tell.
The "Starfist" Series is also good. HUGE books and contains a lot of reading, but It's got an interesting story line.
"Of Mice and Men" is a short story, but it makes you understand how migrant farm workers lived during the Great Depression.

o i did the of mice and men book last year for skewl but i found it really boring. can u believe that that book had been baned in some of the states???

I liked Of Mice and Men, quite a touching story. A quick read, too. No 400 page sleeper novel.

haha romeo and juliet is an interesting book... cant believe how many dirty comments are in it lol, so funny. And I can't quite remember why of mice and men were banned.... that was in grade 8 i read it and Im in grade 11 now, so long ago i cant believe it lol. I remember though there was offensive material either racist or something like that...

hmmmm.... well i cant remember.. thats gonna bug me now lol. Also if anyones bored try reading the Twilight series.... its REALLY good
