I Think that aliens were created by another race, but the xenomorphs were not what they wanted. For an example, aliens needed hosts. Soon after, the xenomorphs got loose and killed the whole race that created them. Now they are running around in space or whatever.

I dont think aliens were created, i think they just evolved just like humans. but thats just me.

I agree with karl. it would be too similar with starcraft if xenos were created.
